Our winter wedding at the Parlour was simply perfect! The venue is gorgeous anyway but with snow on the ground and the Christmas trees all lit up for our wedding on the 2nd December, it looked even more magical. What makes the venue extra special however, is not the fixtures and fittings, or the delicious food, but the amazing team! From Naomi and the team in the sales office, to everyone who looked after us on the day, to the fabulous Master of Ceremonies, they could not be faulted. So attentive, so caring – world class hospitality!
The Parlour was only the second venue we viewed and we just knew it was the one.
The photos of the place do not do it justice, there’s a gorgeous vibe and on a summers day you honestly forget your in Northumberland! From the minute we enquired the staff have been exceptional, they reply to emails quickly and nothing ever felt an issue. The actual day was incredible, staff on hand every step of the way! The venue is simply stunning and we honestly had the most perfect day. Food was phenomenal and every guest was catered for with no issues whatsoever, I would chose this venue time and time again! Thank you to each and every one of you at the parlour!
The Parlour was the only venue we viewed and as soon as we walked in we knew it was the one. All of the staff were really friendly and we felt we could ask any questions and tailor the day completely to how we wanted it without any fixed package or set costs. It is truly beautiful and needs very little decoration. All of our guests were blown away on the day. A huge thank you to our MOC and was honestly just perfect. She put us totally at ease and made the whole thing run seamlessly – it couldn’t have been less stressful. We would 100% recommend the venue. From staying in the cottage the night before, waking up and having hair and make up in the bridal suite and the ceremony and reception – the whole thing was stunning from start to finish.
