The Parlour at Blagdon is a unique and exclusive wedding and events venue, situated within the Blagdon Estate, just a stone's throw from the stunning Northumberlandia. It’s within easy travelling distance of Newcastle, Gosforth, Alnwick and Morpeth, meaning you can enjoy a secluded feel without a long journey.
A Northumbrian Wedding with a Difference
When you choose The Parlour at Blagdon, you’re selecting a picturesque and unique wedding location. You can decide to hold your wedding ceremony either in the grade 2 listed Smithy, or you can tie the knot in our scenic landscape gardens, comfortably hosting 90 guests.
We can also offer you the use of our Willow room for your daytime or evening wedding reception, perfect either for a sit-down meal or more of a party with live entertainment.
On site we have 5 beautifully-decorated rooms, including the bridal suite with its own en-suite. You’ll be able to host up to 8 guests in the other 4 bedrooms.

Depending on your requirements, we can provide things like a master of ceremonies, a buffet or formal meal, and even a DJ if you’re looking for live entertainment, making planning your event so much easier.
You can host up to 90 guests depending on your room choice. The Willow room is the largest and is perfect for dining and entertaining, the Smithy can host up to 40 guests whilst the Stables can host 24 and is ideal for daytime bookings.
