We’re pleased to announce that we’re registered for civil weddings, meaning your wedding can be conducted in our beautifully-converted Grade-2 listed Smithy.

 

The Smithy is adorned with amazing feature stone walls and stunning wooden beams with festoon lighting draped between. You can walk down the aisle towards our newly-renovated feature wall with a fireplace backdrop perfect for photographs.

It’s a picturesque location that will make your ceremony a memorable occasion, and with a capacity of 90 guests there is plenty of room to invite all your family and friends so you can enjoy the ceremony together.

Alternatively, you may decide to make excellent use of our beautiful landscaped gardens and patio for a unique outdoor twist to your day.

By using our gardens, you can enjoy saying your vows and readings in the glorious sunshine, bringing the perfect start to your marriage. It’s a great Northumbrian background to have and will make the perfect wedding photos.

After tying the knot, you will then be whisked away to capture the first moments of your married life together while your guests enjoy cocktails and canapés in our scenic gardens and Stables bar for your daytime reception.

Civil wedding ceremonies have to be paid and booked separately through the Alnwick registry office. You can call them on 01665 602 870. Before paying any deposit, please confirm that both the Parlour and the registrars are available for your chosen date.
